During his music studies and for the next five years he went into more than 9 different rock bands, but it was a real mess, and abandoned music for almost a year after playing with an experimental electronic jazz band called "La Amante Acida" (the acid lover) in many theatres around the city.

He appeared on the book "Sonidos Urbanos", which is a full study of 150 independent emerging artists from Mexico City between 2000 and 2005.

After his stereo broke down, he decided to buy a dj-mixing equipment and left it on his "we never sleep" friends house. He used to go there twice a week and people began to come to hear their Dj-sets. They formed "John Keys Collective" and began to make bigger parties and while this happened Gri Mov N SunDog fell in love with electronic music. On this parties he met the audio producer Oscar "Broc" Rivero, from Pangea Records, and still works with him recording alternative, experimental, electronic albums and also some remixes.

On 2008 he quit the city and moved to the caribbean beach where he produced his first dance electronic songs. A couple of years after, he began to work as a Dj for the first time, on the main party street downtown, where he presents Dj sets and also Live Acts with his own version of electronic-dance music. He also presents in private parties and clubs around Playa del Carmen.
